It all started with us spotting various broken traffic bollards in the streets of Kadıköy.
We hacked these bollards by joining our forces with 3D printing technology and a
touch of Star Wars inspiration. We fixed the top sections of the broken traffic
bollards by attaching the 3D printed Star Wars characters that we had designed
using 3D modelling software.
To attach the 3D figures seamlessly, we measured the size of broken parts and
then modelled the characters accordingly.
Traffic bollard translates as "baba" in Turkish that is also a synonym for father. So,
Father’s Day was the perfect time of the year for our little secret hacking project!
