We curated an upcycling workshop in HOOD Base to give life to toys that had been broken and required mending. During the upcycling process we made use of 3D printed pieces and figures as well. With 20 participants in total, the upcycling workshop was held in two separate sessions. The outcome? "Brand new" and super creative upcycled toys! We asked the participants to come up with a story of their upcycled toys. We had the upcycled toys exhibited for a week at the HOOD Base space.
A week after the first session, we had our second round of Recreate Toys held at Kadir Has University with students. At the end, we had amazing upcycled toys with amazing stories.
