We intervened an electrical box and seating units in Bebek Park.

For the 12th season of Turkey’s Changemakers programme, we graffiti painted faces on some of the seating units and hacked an electrical box by using 3D printed figures. In the opening day of the renovated Türkan Sabancı Bebek Park, we introduced our projects to the Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Sabancı Foundation, Güler Sabancı and The Mayor of Istanbul, Ekrem İmamoğlu.

Established by the Sabancı Foundation in 2009, Turkey’s Changemakers platform has been supporting communities that are providing innovative solutions to social issues. As Onaranlar Kulübü, we were also nominated as a Changemaker of 2021. In this context, we intervened in the renovated Türkan Sabancı Bebek Park. Onaranlar Kulübü team member Cansu Gaytancıoğlu created the concept design for the public space intervention. The seating units were painted with various characters and the electrical box in the park was hacked with 3D printing and coloring techniques.
