As Onaranlar Kulübü, we have signed off on yet another project that brings together art and technology. Our project, selected by San Francisco’s leading innovation center, Gray Area, was showcased at this prestigious venue from August 6-9. The 3D-printed installation, inspired by Da Vinci’s famous work Vitruvian Man, was part of the exhibition themed “Contemplating Human Presence in a Digital Wilderness,” offering a perspective that questions the meaning of the human body and existence in the digital age.

This installation, where we reinterpreted Da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man using modern technology, provided an opportunity to rediscover the proportions and symmetry of the human body in a digital reality. By bringing the timeless aesthetics of classical art into the modern world, we created an experimental approach to the perfect form of the human body using 3D printing technology. As the 3D printing process transitioned from the digital to the physical world, this work, which blends technology and art, offered visitors both a visual and intellectual experience.

Our project was not only an artistic but also a technological journey. During the installation process, we explored the changes in the human body and identity in a digitalizing world, rethinking the place of technology in human perception. Rather than using technology merely as a tool, this project placed it at the heart of a creative process.

In addition to the exhibition at Gray Area, we also participated in the “AI and the Future of Live Experience” event on August 8. This event provided a platform for inspiring talks and discussions on the future of artificial intelligence and digital experiences. Throughout the event, we had the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the potential future uses of AI and the transformation of human-computer interactions. Moreover, we connected with other participants, seizing strong networking opportunities for new collaborations and creative projects.
