We were back at Bozcaada Jazz Festival this year with our creative workshops! As one of the content partners of the festival, we brought our sustainability and upcycling-themed #OnaranAtölyeler series to the island’s unique nature. Additionally, with our collective mural workshop, participants had the chance to experience the mural process on canvas. They not only engaged in creative processes but also created lasting memories from the island.
Our portable picnic table workshop, which was highly popular last year, continued this year as well. Participants designed and built their own tables on the beach, enjoying the festival in a personalized way. The materials used in this workshop were selected to create both aesthetic and functional tables. Each table being customizable gave participants the opportunity to create their own unique designs.
This year, we also held a workshop focused on creating decorative flower pots for local plants collected from the island. Participants showcased their creativity by designing their pots using silicone tubes, reclaimed wood, and personal touches. By employing various application and assembly techniques, we brought discarded materials back to life and produced amazing designs.
As Onaranlar Kulübü, we once again demonstrated the power of collective creation through these experiences intertwined with the island!
