Inspired by the world of Toy Story, a Buzz Lightyear installation has now landed in the streets of Bomonti.
Created with the support of Selsil, this installation brings Buzz Lightyear’s brave, curious, and adventurous spirit into the public space. Located on Kazım Orbay Avenue, the work creates an unexpected encounter and a brief moment of imagination within the everyday rhythm of the city.
The installation was produced piece by piece using 3D printing technology. Each detail was individually assembled and painted to complete the final composition. Throughout every stage of the production process, we aimed to highlight that streets are not only spaces we pass through, but living surfaces capable of bringing people together through shared stories.
Inspired by Buzz Lightyear, this project is not only about bringing a nostalgic character into the city, but also about reminding us of childhood dreams, the excitement of discovery, and the power of imagining together. Because sometimes, a small detail we encounter in the city can invite us to dream toward infinity once again.
