The urban hacking workshop supported by Kendine Has took place in Bomonti
area. ATÖLYE team was kind enough to provide us with a space to carry out our indoor sessions throughout. Along with 16 Onaranlar Kulübü volunteers, we intervened the streets of Bomonti with creative designs.
We kicked-off the workshop by dividing it into three main modules: Conceptual Interaction, Exploration and Design. And, the main purpose of this urban hacking workshop was to hack Bomonti area by encouraging our participants to immerse themselves into the urban intervention culture and to use new generation production tools such as 3D printers. During the Think, Design, Produce module, we reflected the output of our brainstorming sessions in writing first, and then took our ideas to digital. The concepts we designed for 6 days, was produced in 3D printers with support from 3Dörtgen, ltimaker and 3Durak for the day of intervention – Hack and Share day.
At the end, we had super fun and creative design items scattered all over Bomonti area thanks to this collective design and hacking movement.
